Planning Objection Letters provides professional planning representation for local residents and third parties on planning applications and appeals.
I hold a Master’s degree in Town and Country Planning and am a corporate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). This allows me to describe myself as a Chartered Town Planner, an internationally recognised mark of professional planning expertise.
I worked for ten years in local government, rising to a senior position responsible for managing a busy development management team. In 2003 I set up in private practice, working for numerous public and private sector clients, including ten years handling planning appeals as an Inspector for the Planning Inspectorate.
I offer a range of service options designed to meet the needs of local residents and third parties, including planning reviews, planning objection letters and planning committee scripts for public speaking.
I am a highly experienced MRTPI accredited planning consultant. I have worked on a wide range of projects, from small household extensions to major residential, commercial and infrastructure schemes.
Ethos and approach
Planning Objection Letters was conceived to enable local people to oppose planning applications and appeals on an equal footing with developers, applicants and appellants by giving them access to professional planning representation at affordable prices.
The service is designed to be as efficient and cost effective as possible by replacing costly and time consuming site visits with electronic working. This is achieved through the use of email, digital photography and online resources such as digital mapping and street view systems.
